Ball Gown

We all want to look like a princess and ball gown have the advantage to make every woman look like one. The good thing about this style is that it tends to fit any brides because it disguises the body from waist/hip to the bottom. However it is important to find the right style bodice. If everything perfectly fits the bride will look extremely flattering. 

The ball gown dress is worn with tulle and/or hoop underneath the skirt. The dress can have heavily pleated around the waistline in order to have a very soft romantic look and give out a curly effect. This style of dress makes the bride look young, classic and extremely pretty.

Sheath

The Sheath style wedding dress was popular in the 80s and 90s, famous for its classy and elegant look. This is a very simple looking dress that is fitted at the hips and falls straight down.

For a more princess style effect the bride can have an attachment that wraps around the waist and the skirt so it has the train effect. If done perfectly, the wedding dress will look very pretty and the good thing about having an attachment is that the bride can take off the attachment whenever they like, giving the bride a variety of styles and looks for that night. The Sheath wedding dress is suitable for brides with a nice and healthy curve; and reasonable flat stomach and back or else the bride’s stomach will hang around the waist.

Princess/A-Line

Princess/A-line style dress is the traditional strapless wedding dress. This elegant and simple style is suitable for all shapes and sizes brides, especially for brides that are not tall because the dress tends to create an illusion of being taller and slimmer. For big busted brides or slim brides with little or no bust, it is better off to have strap rather than going strapless because strapless will just place unnecessary emphasizes on that area. Also another advice, this style of wedding dress cannot be too narrow, especially for brides with bigger hips; this is because it will draw attention to that area.

Fish Tail & Mermaid

The mermaid style wedding dress is one elegant dress which is great to emphasize the figure of the bride. The dress is quite tightly fitted around the waist and hips area; and flairs out nicely from knee to below. The extension of the fabric at the bottom of the dress, back of the dress is known to be the fish tail or a small train, reflecting as a mermaid’s tail.

This wedding dress style is suitable for brides that are slim or medium built with medium size bust. It is because of the low cut back, bigger bust brides may not be too suitable with the style because it can create emphasizes on the top, making it look too heavy.
